Cross roller bearing has V-shaped raceways in the rings and uses cylindrical rollers.The rollers are arranged crosswise so that the bearings can withstand radial forces, axial forces, moment loads or their mixed loads.Compared with four-point contact ball bearings, solar slewing ring has lower rotational resistance torque because each roller only bears loads in one direction and the contact area and geometric shape of the rollers make them more rigid than balls.When the dimensions are basically the same, rollers have a higher load capacity than balls.However, since not all rollers face in one direction, the thrust and moment load capacity of cross roller bearings is not as high as that of four-point contact ball bearings. Gears or other drive mechanisms can be designed on the inner or outer ring support structure, and the bearing hole pattern can be determined according to the customer's choice.
